Samudayik Vikas Samiti

SVS is a non profit NGO established in the year 1999. It makes efforts to provide all kinds of support to the poor and needy slum dweller families. Samudayik Vikas Samiti is dedicated towards providing adequate and nutritious food, social security for every person, right to education for every child, right to life for every individual, right to basic amenities and right to safety and-security for all, Samudayik Vikas Samiti works towards protecting the various rights of the people living here in these slums.

Samudayik Vikas Samiti provides useful and better livelihood opportunities for the needy, respecting the safety and security issues of women and dignity of men. It provides primary education to girl child and children, encourages gender equality, works for women’s empowerment and ensures all necessary measures are taken to control child mortality. To sum it up, it strongly supports the right environment that people need for living a wholesome life. In times to come, Samudayik Vikas Samiti is set to start a new scheme under which the senior citizens of the country who are neglected and destitute will be supported. We have more than 18000 villages in India which have no electricity. SVS is all set to adopt some of the villages to install Solar Power [2-5kw) to be operated by our partner NGO all over India. SVS looks forward for the support of the respective state Government and the Central Government in this process.

If we talk about the founder members, these are individuals with an experience of more than 25 years of social work. They are associated with many such organizations that constantly bridge the gap between the affluent and the deprived.

Samudayik Vikas Samiti would like to urge like-minded communities to contribute to this venerable social cause and will be highly grateful whether this contribution guided by a feeling of compassion is financial or in the form of physical effort

Our Centers

NandNagri

Address - H. NO- B-2/158, GROUND FLOOR, NAND NAGRI, DELHI-110093

Situated in the center area of NandNagri, New Delhi, this center caters the services of free education to many deserving but under privileged children. This center focuses on not only the Education of these children, but also makes its full efforts to improvise the living standards of children associated with the center. Currently, we have 77 children in this center and we are running school in shifts to accommodate all of them. Timely activities are being organized for these children.

Kalyanpuri

Address - 18/330-331, KALYAN PURI DELHI-110091

In the hustle and bustle of this busy area, the Kalyanpuri center of SVS is remarkably fulfilling its duty and rendering its services to all the needy & deserving children of the area as well as nearby locality. With more the 80 children in this center, we are aiming to reach our objective give away all we can to make a difference in the lives of these little angles. Education being our prime objective, we also focus on other parallel requirements to provide these children with the basic amenities of life.

Seemapuri

Address - B-673, NEW SEEMAPURI DELHI-110095

Located in the east of New Delhi, the Seemapuri center has no new attraction, but certainly focuses on the SVS’s aim & objectives of empowering the under privileged children of the locality by giving education and supporting the children to turn them into a self sufficient citizens for their future. With having more than 60 children in this center, we are proud to say that SVS has hole heartedly and assiduously been working on to mark a remarkable change in the lives of these children. The center takes indicative to organize & celebrate festivals so that the children are also engaged in extracurricular activities apart from the routine education & classes that are being religiously practiced.
